I can't believe it's already October this week!!
This week in ESOL...
2nd graders will be finishing their narratives and we will be revising by correcting capitalization, past tense usage, and punctuation.
3rd graders will be writing leads by describing the character, setting, and action. We will also explore leads that begin with a question, tell strong feelings about our event, or foreshadow things to come.
4th and 5th graders will be writing leads using dialogue and describing their settings. We will also be working on including transition words to help our writing flow. This week, Mrs. Bercher has invited our 4th and 5th grade ESOL students to try out the new OSMOs in the media center. Please sign the photo release so we can share the awesome experience who helped our school purchse the OSMOs.
